Academy Staff

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Our academy team consists of experienced professionals. Their knowledge and skills help our learners to achieve their professional goals and help them to become successful within the industry.

Sam Joy – Head of Centre

Sam’s first role as head of centre is to plan the curriculum and support the other staff in the delivery, run the centre and communicate with City & Guilds. Her second role is to support assessors and ensure that they are following the national occupational standards.

Ruth Tate – Level 2 Theory Tutor & Assessor

Ruth is the lead Level 2 theory tutor. She teaches in the Norwich and Lowestoft academy and supports other Level 2 theory teachers. She has also completed her MCE which stands for

Master Colour Expert.

Leanne Souter– Level 3 Co-ordinator & Tutor

Leanne plans and delivers the level 3 qualification; she also supports the assessors who assess this qualification.

Mel Staff – Assessor & Trainer

Mel is one of our senior assessors. She works alongside other trainers and assessors to deliver the practical skills needed and then assesses them in compliance with the national occupational standards.

Roxanne Jex – Assessor & Trainer

Roxanne is a level 2 and 3 teacher in the Lowestoft academy.

Amanda Everson – Trainer

Amanda is the newest trainer in the academy and has come over from New Zealand to teach. She has lots of experience from owning her own salon previously.

Note: All academy staff have a minimum of 5 years salon experience they keep their skills up to date by working in the salon and attending regular training courses.  A tough interview system ensures we only employ the best for our team.
